The Allen family came to the Arising Church in 2017 to seek discipleship and the Spirit of God. After years of learning and yoking themselves to the leadership families they became Deacons in 2020 and Pastors in 2021. Their family mission is to build up the church to maturity in Christ.

The Hefner family has been with the Arising Church nearly from its beginning. Starting as an Elder family, then becoming a Pastoral family in 2021, they teach the truths of God's word with sincerity and lay down their lives for the body just like their Good Shepherd. Their family mission is to be armor-bearer to saints and a pillar of truth in the church. 

The Slaughter family started the Arising Church in 2013, after moving to Illinois from Texas in obedience and faith in Christ. Ever since, they have been teaching the word and discipling families to become more like Jesus. Their family mission is to bring freedom through the truth of God's Word.

The Moeller family came to The Arising Church in 2020. After serving for 20 years in other ministries, God called them to lay down the influence and status they had to learn and grow. The Moeller's live out the vision of our Church and bring deep conviction, wisdom, and diligence to the team.                

In 2016, the Morrisons became an Elder Family. Ever since, they have been serving the body and the One Association with heavenly discernment and wisdom that comes from decades of following Christ. Their family mission is to equip, encourage and build up the Saints, building foundations rooted in Christ that will last generations. 

The Quick family were one of the first families to ever attend the Arising Church in 2013. Ever since, they have lead the body in bold faith and prayer, helping raise disciples who follow Jesus with their whole heart. Their family mission is to encourage and empower others to trust God and walk by faith.
